Even More Coupon Resources & HOW To Use Them!

Now you’ve learned the easy peasy secrets to printing coupons from sites like Red Plum and Coupons.com I’m going to share even more coupon resources with you today.

Sunday Coupon Preview is an excellent resource to help utilize the national coupon inserts in the weekly Sunday papers.

Every week, starting around Wednesday or Thursday, a small group of  un-named coupon insiders list in detail all the coupons published in popular weekly coupon inserts. You’ll see separate posting for each insert like Smart Source, Red Plum, General Mills, and Proctor & Gamble spanning a few days. Let me reiterate: This IS NOT a printable coupon site, they just list the coupons you clip from your weekly Sunday circulars.

You can maximize your shopping dollars and increase your savings for the weekly grocery budget. How? Knowledge is power!

Here’s the scenario:

  • Say on Thursday night, you check the site to see which coupons are coming out in the Sunday paper.
  • You notice there’s a 75¢ coupon coming out for a 4 ounce tube of Colgate Toothpaste. (BTW-this is a real coupon coming out in this Sunday’s Smart Source insert)
  • You don’t need toothpaste right now BUT your local grocery store circular has Colgate listed on sale for $1 next week.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out 25¢ for a tube of toothpaste is an AWESOME deal! Here’s the kicker: If you buy it on a double coupon day, the toothpaste won’t cost you a dime!!! In fact, you will get 50¢ from the store to put in your pocket! Now THAT’S a fantastic deal!!!!

Free Coupon Alerts is another helpful coupon resource which includes printable coupons, e-coupons as well as a few other types of coupons.

For those of you who love printable and electronic coupons, this is the resource for you! I must warn this site is updated multiple times a day so be prepared for a daily feed filled with lots of posts. Free Coupon Alerts posts are brief usually with an image or description of the high value coupon with links the printable source.

The trick with printable coupons is “they” (the coupon or manufacturer provider) only permit a certain number of prints for each electronic coupon released on these types of sites.

FAT Piggy BankThe printable coupon is disabled after it reaches the maximum number of prints (yes “they” have programs that keep up with how many times an individual coupon’s been printed). It is in your best interest to immediately print the coupons you think you will use later in the week or month. If you don’t use it, trade it or give it to a friend or neighbor before it expires.

Now that you have a few more money saving resources at your disposal, what will you do with the extra cash you save shopping???
