Today is the first official day of summer vacation in my house. You see, yesterday was the last day of school! The excitement’s been building for a few weeks but FINALLY summer is here!!!

Summertime is a busy time for us. We spend a lot of time outdoors. Biking to the post office. Playing in the park. Working in the garden. Window shopping at the greenhouse (& playing in their fantastic sandbox)! The list goes on and on but all this activity makes it’s difficult to prepare a quick lunch – other than a lame-o sandwich! ;D
Red Baron’s new line of Pan Pizza’s and Pan Pasta’s makes lunch time easier. Their pizza and pasta are ready in under 30 minutes! We have already tried the Pan Pizza! It was a gloomy rainy day. Perfect for an indoor picnic!

Hubby isn’t a big fan of pan style pizza, store bought or from a restaurant. I, however, love pan style pizza but we both have the same problem with frozen pan pizza: the crust never seems quite “done” enough. Not the case with Red Baron’s Pan Style Pizza. The pizza comes with a baking tray which helps completely bake the crust. The result is a buttery crispy bottom shell of the crust with a chewy yeasty doughy part of the crust layered with a sweet sauce and delicious toppings.

I really enjoyed it! The kids absolutely devoured it and even hubby liked it. He just wished there were more toppings but don’t we all?
Red Baron Pan Pastas come in three varieties: Rotini with Meat Sauce, Chicken Alfredo and Bacon Mac & Cheese.
