Yes, I said BILLION with a ‘B’!
The fifth richest man in the world, Mukesh Ambani is ready to move into his new 27 story 400,000 square foot home in Mumbai, India.
Nita & Mukesh Ambani have named their home, Antilla. It has been constructed and designed where no two floors are the same with over 80% of the materials and labor sourcing from India. Different materials from decorating to furniture to floor plans are used on.each.floor! HOLY COW!
The home is filled with internal and external balconies, gathering and entertaining rooms. Reportedly the ball room’s ceiling is covered in crystal chandeliers with stages, LDC screens and speakers embedded in walls so I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.
This is a few of the things reported in Antilla, the Billion Dollar Home’s floor plan:

The home is staffed with over 600 people who maintain the grounds, security and attend the family’s needs.
The family is reported to move in within the week.
The home over looks downtown Mumbai but what disturbs me most is how this lavish home is literally a stone’s throw from the slums of India where people are dying from hunger and malnutrition. I only hope once the family moves into the home, they will do more to help their sick, hungry dying neighbors.
