In case you haven’t heard, the miners in Chile are being pulled from the ground as we speak.
The first man was pulled to the surface at 10:10pm CST last night. What is surprising to me is the miners’ incredibly good health and positive mental condition. As of this post’s published time, each minor has been in overwhelmingly high spirits when they reach the surface.
Jokes. Laughter. Stunning emotional reunions with family and friends. Many of the men are literally leaping from the rescue tube, giving hugs to everyone around! I’m stunned after months buried underground, they have the physical ability to do this! There is no doubt the hand of God has been laid upon these 33 men.This event is so emotional people across the world are coming together in unifying moment today. The miners are being lifted to the surface at a rate of one per hour so even though things are off to a great start, we need to continue to keep the miner’s, their family’s, the rescue worker’s and everyone else in our thoughts and prayers.
Too many times stories like this have horrific endings. It’s such a relief to see a happy ending with the Chilean miners!
