If you’ve never participated in a twitter party before, it can be quite fun. Hectic but fun! I prefer to use TweetGrid when I party in the twitterverse and this basic party grid will get you started. Enter your twitter name in the right side where it says “your_username_here”. You can use the @ symbol or leave it off. The party will show up on the left with the hostesses tweets in the middle. This will be great for the beginner.

However, I prefer a few more grids when I party on Twitter. This is why: I can keep up with more conversations if I can separate a few conversations from the busy party chatter. I like to have my direct messages in one grid and my public replies in another grid. Plus I also like to give each party hostess her own grid so I’m sure not to miss a prize question. This is my preferred party grid.

TweetGrid Preferred Grid

You can click the settings plus sign, check DM’s, enter your login information so your direct messages automatically pull into the grid.

I’m not sure I’ll make this party but if you have any questions about how to join in the fun or how a twitter party works, leave me a comment and I’ll do my best to answer it. For all you ladies (and fellas if I have any male readers) who’ve twitter partied till you dropped, what’s your best party advice for the newbies???
