I just watched the most hilarious parenting video from Evenflo’s Savvy Parent’s Guide of webisodes. You might have seen a few of these in my sidebar on the Juicebox Jungle network last month. This one didn’t air on the network ~ strong language ~ JBJ didn’t want to offend anyone!
As funny as it is, I can so relate to this! We have a serious case of the potty mouth in our house. Between the bad language on television, radio, movies, and conversations the kids have overheard, they are exposed to a variety of four-lettered words. I’ve been fortunate with the first two kiddos. They didn’t pick up on the potty mouth too much so it wasn’t a big deal or a cause for concern but Wild Man seems to be picking up more than I’d like!!!! From the four-lettered words casually tossed around to other lesser offensive but still unsavory words the older kids are teaching him. (Does anyone know exactly what a “but nugget” is???)
We tell him not to use the bad words and limit using them ourselves so with any luck, this too shall pass!!!! …hopefully BEFORE preschool starts this fall.
